Malta's future, like much of the world's, depends on mitigating climate change. Yet it is only a part of what it takes to safeguard our nation's future. We need effective action made possible through a dedication and passion to reduce our carbon footprint and ensure a sustainable future for ourselves and for generations to come.
Our country's youth are not only the future but the present. It's fundamental that they have a say in the Malta they're inheriting, to have a say in building a Malta we could be proud of.
The sustainable development goals are the UN's blueprint of an ideal future, with one of the hallmarks being 'Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions'. We simply can't have a green and equitable future without good governance.
My involvement in politics started from a passion for the Rule of Law, particularly when investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia was assassinated in 2017 and Malta faced unprecedented protests in 2019's constitutional crisis.
Democracy isn't static and is never guaranteed and for that reason we must protect it and fight for it everyday. Dictatorships do not happen overnight through a singular coup d'état, but democracies are very much eroded slowly by criminals posing as politicians together with special interests.
My job is to represent you, hence that's the basis of my style of politics. My goal is to be hands-on and a call away to give you the voice you deserve. Please do not shy away from reaching out.
